Savoury spirulina pancakes

These pancakes are a great way to start the day or for a nutritious brunch option! Spirulina is a powerful immune supporter due to its high levels of phytonutrients.
Time to make: 20 minutes            Serves: 6 pancakes


  • 1 cup spelt or regular flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp Lifestream Spirulina Boost
  • 1 ½ tbsp melted coconut oil
  • ¾ cup nut milk
  • Pinch of salt


  • Mix all ingredients together until well combined. Add a bit of water if it is a bit dry.
  • Melt a little more coconut oil in a pan. Add large spoonfuls of mixture and fry until cooked on both sides.
  • Top with fresh herbs, crumbled or plant-based feta, and sprinkle some seeds for extra crunch.
