Hemp Oil

Hemp seed is cold-pressed from the seeds of the hemp plant and has a nutty, slightly grassy flavour. It is naturally rich in polyunsaturated fats, including omega-6 (linoleic acid) and omega-3 (alpha-linolenic acid), and is available as a food-grade oil, capsules and softgels, and as a nourishing oil in skincare and body care from trusted brands.

Compare the type of oil, how it is pressed and the other ingredients on each label. Hemp seed oil comes from low-THC food-grade hemp and is not the same as CBD oil. It is delicate, so keep it refrigerated and away from light and heat, and don’t use it for high-heat cooking. It may interact with blood thinners, so check with your doctor or pharmacist if you take medication, have a medical condition, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, and do a patch test before using on skin.
