Bunny bread bowl

Easter is a great time to get a little creative with the food we make. It’s fun to find new ways to present delicious food that everyone will enjoy looking at as much as eating! And since you can’t get much cuter than baby bunnies, here’s a recipe for a cute bunny bread bowl that is bound to get everyone’s attention!

Ingredients

1 loaf of bread, large and round

1 bread bun

5 toothpicks

2 chocolate chips

1 pink pebble

Method

STEP 1: Slice the top off the large loaf of bread. Pull out bread from the inside in chunks, until the loaf is hollowed out like a bowl, and set the bread chunks aside.

STEP 2: Take the bread bun and cut an indent into the front at the bottom. Leave a lip on the back, so that it can hang off the back of the bread bowl.

STEP 3: Take the top of the bread loaf you sliced in step 1, and cut out two ears.

STEP 4: Slice a hole in the bun where you want the eyes and nose. Poke the chocolate chips into place for eyes, and the pebble for the nose.

STEP 5: Take the bun and place it on top of the bread bowl ledge. Secure it in place with three toothpicks.

STEP 6: Slide the remaining two toothpicks into the bottom of the ears and place them in the top of the bun for ears.

STEP 7: Take a chunk of bread you removed earlier, roll it into a ball, and use it as the bunny’s tail.

STEP 8: Prepare a thick soup or veggie dip.

STEP 9: Lightly toast the bread chunks in the oven until slightly brown and crispy around the edges.

STEP 10: Serve the soup or dip in the bread bowl, along with bread chunks and sliced veggies. Enjoy!
