DIY face mask - with kiwifruit and avocado

Did you know that kiwifruit have three times more vitamin C than oranges? They also boost immunity, help to fight off infections, and help to repair damaged body tissue. Kiwifruit are high in minerals, omega 3 essential fatty acids, and vitamin E. Avocado has vitamins A, E and C. All these are good for healthy and glowing skin, so try this recipe for a DIY face mask. 

Caution: Some people can be allergic to kiwifruit face masks, so it is advised to do a patch test first. Rub a small piece of kiwifruit on your skin. If you feel any discomfort or see any inflammation thereafter, don’t try these fruit face packs.

Instructions

STEP 1:Mash half an avocado and a kiwifruit with a fork until it makes a smooth and creamy paste.

STEP 2: Add a tablespoon of honey and mix in well.

STEP 3: Apply evenly to your face for 15 minutes, and then rinse with warm water. Keep refrigerated for up to five days.
