When you first become a parent and begin the journey with food and meal times, it starts with only the best intentions:
- “My child will eat broccoli and every vegetable I put on their plate.”
- “They will not have the option to be fussy and will consume what they’re given.”
- “I’m only making one dinner in this household so they better get used to it.”
Well, that was me a year ago, before my delightful toddler turned two and went on a food strike! My previously unfussy, well-rounded, ravenous child woke up one day and decided vegetables were the enemy and only processed, sweet foods were truly edible.
