Honey and Cinnamon Tea

 

Honey and cinnamon make a powerful immune-boosting combination. Both ingredients are anti-bacterial, honey has anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties, and cinnamon contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Try honey and cinnamon tea to reduce the length or severity of a cold.

Ingredients
• 1 tablespoon of raw honey 
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 
• 1/2 freshly squeezed lemon
• 1 cup of water.

Instructions
1. Bring water to a light boil, remove from heat and pour into a glass
2. Add honey, cinnamon, lemon, and stir
3. Drink the tea twice daily, for three days, or as otherwise preferred.
