Ingredients
- 1/3 cup drained water from aquafaba (a can of chickpeas with no added salt)
- 3 tbsp coconut sugar
- ¼ tsp cream of tartar, sifted
- 1 tsp cinnamon, sifted
- 2 tbsp Natava Superfoods Cacao Powder, sifted
- 2 cups almond, coconut or cashew plant-based milk
Method
- Place the water from the tinned chickpeas into a large mixing bowl. Using a high-speed hand mixer, whip the water for about 10 minutes until it turns fluffy and white, and is forming stiff peaks.
- Gradually add in the coconut sugar, a tablespoon at a time, while continuing to blend. Using the hand mixer, mix for 2 minutes.
- Gradually add in the cream of tartar, cinnamon, and Natava Superfoods Cacao Powder. Mix for a further three minutes and set aside.
- Gently heat the plant milk in a medium saucepan on the stove until it starts to boil. Remove from the heat and pour into two large tall glasses large mugs.
- Add half cup of the whipped mixture into each mug, stirring for approximately 30 seconds until combined with the milk. Top each mug with another tablespoon of the cacao whip and enjoy.
