MooGoo’s Cream Conditioner is a perfect complement to their Milk Shampoo, originally created for a family member with an extremely itchy scalp. While shampoo cleanses the hair and scalp, MooGoo believes it’s equally important to follow with a natural conditioner that hydrates without coating or irritating the scalp.
Unlike most conventional conditioners, which rely on silicone-based ingredients (often ending in "-cone") to create a slippery, silky feel, MooGoo’s Cream Conditioner avoids these synthetic additives. While silicones make hair easy to detangle, they can build up over time, leaving hair feeling heavy and limp. This buildup often necessitates clarifying shampoos to remove the residue left behind by silicone-heavy conditioners.
Instead, MooGoo formulated their conditioner with natural oils that don’t coat the hair but instead penetrate and hydrate it, providing long-lasting nourishment rather than a temporary silky feel. This approach not only supports healthier hair and scalp but is also far better for the environment. Many synthetic ingredients, including silicones, are difficult to break down in water systems, posing environmental concerns.
