NOW NAC (N-acetyl Cysteine) 1000mg is a stable form of the non-essential amino acid cysteine.
It is a sulfur-containing amino acid that acts as a stabilizer for the formation of protein structures and promotes the formation of glutathione. Glutathione is a powerful free radical scavenging compound that also helps to maintain normal, balanced immune system function.
In addition NOW supplements NAC can help to support healthy brain and neuronal tissues.
NB: This formula contains the minerals selenium and molybdenum, which tend to appear as dark speckles - These can darken and become more visible over time.
These do not test as oxidation or mould in our investigations.
The contents meet microbial and label strength specifications and are safe to take. You may refrigerate to retard this process, if you are not using regularly.
