Solgar Valerian root is a herbal remedy that has been used for centuries to promote relaxation and improve sleep quality. The extract is derived from the roots of the Valeriana officinalis plant, which contains compounds that are believed to have sedative and anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) effects. However, other studies have not found significant benefits compared to a placebo.
