12 Month Fixed Term

Health 2000 is New Zealand's leading natural health provider with 70 stores across the country as well as a strong online presence. Our current National Marketing Manager is going on maternity leave, so we are looking for someone new to join us for a 12 month period based in the Hamilton CBD.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include managing a team of four in the marketing, administration and eCommerce departments. You would oversee all the functions of marketing – strategy, budgets, digital, our monthly magazine, PR, media and radio. Your day-to-day interactions include those with the Health 2000 Support Office, stores, agencies and suppliers. Your days will be varied and challenging – there is never a dull moment!

About you

This role isn't for the fainthearted – you need at least four years’ experience in a similar role, and you must be adept at running with a strategy and knowing how to improve it.  You might have been a Marketing Manager with a full-mix remit, or in a senior marketing role in a large organisation for quite some time and you're ready to step up – if so, we want to hear from you.

It will be essential that you possess the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communication or similar
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in a senior marketing role or management role 
  • Strong writing skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent consultative and interpersonal/communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, set day-to-day goals and meet commitments
  • Proficient organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple, overlapping, and potentially conflicting priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills.

The Roles

Store Manager

  • 40 hours per week
  • 9am - 5pm
  • Sunday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Saturday
  • Alternating late nights on Thursdays

Part-time Sales Consultant

  • 26.5 hours per week
  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
