Solgar® Super Starflower Oil 1300 mg is a rich source of essential fatty acids, providing 300 mg of GLA. One Super Starflower Oil capsule provides an equivalent GLA to 3 standard Evening Primrose oil capsules.GLA provides support for women's hormonal balance, breast and premenstrual health and is also used for dry eyes and skin.
Starflower oil is cold pressed from the seeds of the starflower plant and is a rich source of fatty acids. Fatty acids are lipids, the general term for dietary fat. The body can make several fatty acids, however, those it cannot make in adequate amounts must be obtained through the diet (essential fatty acids).
Solgar® Super Starflower Oil 1300 mg provides 300 mg of Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), as well as the unsaturated fatty acids Linoleic Acid and Oleic Acid.
Solgar Super Starflower Oil 1300 mg softgel capsule provides high levels of natural essential fatty acids called gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), Linoleic acid, Oleic acid and Palmitic acid from plant Borage seeds. One capsule is of Super Starflower oil is equivalent to 3 standard Evening Primrose oil capsules.
