Garcinia Cambogia is a small pumpkin-like fruit grown in parts of India and Asia. Lighthouse High Strength Garcinia Cambogia 12000 contains 60% hydroxycitric acid (HCA), which is thought to block the enzyme citrate lyase*, and support healthy fat metabolism. Lighthouse Garcinia Cambogia may also support healthy blood lipid and cholesterol levels and normal serotonin levels and balanced moods.
Garcinia Cambogia has been used across Africa and Asia as a natural remedy for digestive conditions.
*When HCA inhibits citrate lyase, the fat-making process is halted and instead of converting sugar to fat, the liver will convert the sugar to glycogen, which is then used as energy. This prevents the formation of new fat cells in the body .The production of LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides decreases when citrate lyase is inhibited.
