Your 3 immune superstars: Elderberry,  Vitamin C & Zinc


Elderberry 
Generations have used black elderberry as the go-to ingredient when feeling unwell. Scientific research has tracked its effectiveness down to high levels of anthocyanins, which trigger a strong immune response when immune cells are under attack. While anthocyanins can be found in various berries and tropical fruits, they  are found in particularly high levels in black elderberries.  It also helps that elderberries are a rich source of flavonoids which are great for their antioxidant activity. 


Vitamin C
When your immune system is stressed or under attack, your body will hoover up Vitamin C like nothing else. Experts recommend around 2000 mgs per day when  you’re not feeling 100%, which is a hefty amount to  source from diet alone. Studies show that having a good amount of vitamin C on board supports the duration of the winter season.

Zinc
