Smoothies have become somewhat of a health fad, especially in the last few years. This is probably because smoothies are a perfect way to get a large dose of fruit, vegetables and other nutrients.

When morning or afternoon tea time rolls around, smoothies can encourage you to eat the right foods, instead of unhealthy high-carb and high-sugar foods that don’t give the same boost as smoothies.

Including ingredients like protein, greens, superfood powders, and omega 3 oils boosts energy levels, immunity and general health. Experimenting with flavours and ingredients will keep your smoothies interesting, and you may be surprised at the concoctions you create!

One tip to making a great smoothie is to strike a balance between flavors and textures. Start by selecting a variety of fruits and vegetables that complement each other in taste and offer a range of textures, such as creamy avocado, sweet berries, and crisp spinach, or if you can't get a hold of any of those, a Super Green powder is an ideal way to get into those great nutrients. Additionally, consider adding a source of protein like Greek yogurt, tofu, or protein powder (whey or vegan) to make your smoothie more satisfying and nourishing.
